Its been a long time coming folks, but its finally here. Welcome to my new online portfolio. Here you will find examples of my work, a short little biography about me and news and updates relating to my world of design.
I hope you like the design of the website. You might be asking yourself, WOW did he design this whole website? Well, kind of. I’m using a premium WordPress theme called Duotive. I did customize the graphics, added my own slideshow and customized imagery, but as far as owning this bad boy, lets just say that it was a partnered design. Oh, but don’t get me wrong, I do design websites. Just go ahead and click on any of the items in the gallery and you’ll see the images with a brief description of the project. I’m familiar with most front end, website design techniques and tools. Not to mention I’ve spend thousands of hours working in Photoshop and arranging html, css and php.
With that being said, I’ve still got lots of room to grow. One thing I’ve noticed since I started working in the graphic design field is the speed at which technology is changing. Its super hard to catch up. While I’ve dabbled in JavaScript, stuck my toe in Flash and waded a bit in other multimedia, I can hardly consider myself an expert. I am a work in progress…and so is my portfolio.
I have come along way since 2009. You should see some of my corny designs back then. Along the way I picked up some tricks and tips of digital design that are bound to be of use to someone. I’ve had the privilege of being able to create logo designs, websites and various print pieces for companies small to large over the past few years. I am now at the point where I am ready to expand what I’m doing and continue to use my leadership qualities and design capabilities with a team or company that is forward thinking and has a positive outlook. Now all we have to do is make sure the pay is right.
